In 1995 Jesper Juul wrote,

“…….I believe it is time that private as well as public organizations and companies cease to regard the families of their staff members and employees as unfair competition rather than a resource that should be welcomed and included in company policies.”

Since then Norwegian research has shown that an average divorce costs the employer(s) € 10-20.000, and that app. 50% of absence from work is family related. The costs of family related issues balances the costs of sickness and are far bigger than costs related to alcohol, drugs, smoking or absenteeism.

For Family-lab Int. the key-word is “family-development”. All families are faced with challenges that requires development and new perspectives.
